LOKL is committed to maintaining a safe, trusted, and compliant marketplace. All sellers are responsible for ensuring that the products they list and sell through LOKL comply with applicable laws, regulations, marketplace requirements, and intellectual property rights.

Prohibited Products

Sellers must not list, offer, or sell products that are:

Illegal, prohibited, or restricted under applicable UAE laws and regulations.
Counterfeit, fake, imitation, or unauthorised products.
Stolen or unlawfully obtained goods.
Products that infringe trademarks, copyrights, patents, designs, or other intellectual property rights.
Unsafe, defective, recalled, or otherwise unsuitable for lawful sale.
Products requiring a licence, permit, approval, certification, or authorisation where the seller cannot provide valid supporting documentation.
Products containing false, misleading, deceptive, or materially inaccurate claims or information.
Any other products that LOKL determines are unsuitable or inconsistent with its marketplace requirements or applicable legal obligations.

Counterfeit & Authenticity Requirements

LOKL strictly prohibits counterfeit products. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all products offered through the marketplace are genuine, authentic, and lawfully sourced.

LOKL may request supporting evidence at any time, including invoices, supplier information, certificates of authenticity, distribution authorisations, brand-owner permissions, or other relevant documentation.

Monitoring & Enforcement

LOKL may review product listings and investigate complaints, suspected violations, or authenticity concerns.

Where a product or seller does not comply with this policy, LOKL may take appropriate action, including:

Removing or restricting a product listing.
Requesting additional information or supporting documentation.
Suspending the seller or restricting marketplace access.
Terminating the seller relationship in serious or repeated cases.
Cooperating with payment partners, rights holders, or competent authorities where required.

Seller Responsibility

Sellers remain responsible for the legality, authenticity, safety, quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of the products they offer through LOKL.

By joining and selling through LOKL, sellers agree to comply with this policy, the LOKL Seller Agreement, and all other applicable marketplace policies.

Reporting a Concern

Customers, rights holders, or other parties who believe that a product listed on LOKL may violate this policy may contact LOKL through the official contact channels available on the website.
